Just to clarify: your program didn’t crash – the program I patched crashed.

Hmm. I couldn’t say for sure what’s causing this, but I’ll take a look and let you know if I get anywhere. Of course, you’re welcome to take a peek at the source-code and investigate things yourself

Wow, this is a very impressive tool! Well done!

It worked on my sample signed code perfectly. However, I ran it on Microsoft Songsmith (Just because I happened to have just downloaded it and wasn’t too fussed if I killed it and met a few issues: there were a heap of red “[Not found]“s on dependencies (like WindowsBase and Microsoft.VisualC) and one green “[Not a NET assembly]”

The result was that if i patched all the references I could the program would crash on start up (with the “send details to microsoft…”

I didn’t really expect it to work on such a complex program, but I was just wondering if you know what would be causing the crash? (it’s not the usual “not correctly signed” message – just a straight out crash)
